Settings for Enabling/Disabling the contributions graph for mobile devices

I recently opened my GitHub Android app to see my contributions in the contributions calendar, but inside my profile there is no contributions section available. I Googled how to enable contributions calendar on Mobile devices it showed me various ways to enable my contributions calendar on Android devices, when I have gone through the settings there is no settings which can enable the contributions calendar inside GitHub Android app.

Please add the settings for enabling/disabling the contributions tab.

There’s nothing wrong with your account. The GitHub Android app currently does not provide the contribution graph on the profile. GitHub’s own docs show the graph as part of the GitHub web profile, and GitHub Community discussions confirm that Android doesn’t currently support it.

What you can do

• Open github.com in Chrome on your Android phone.
• Log in to your GitHub account.
• Open Your profile.
• Scroll down to see your contribution calendar.
• There is currently no setting in the Android app to enable it.

So you don't need to change any settings or reinstall the app. You can use the
GitHub website in your mobile browser until the feature is added to the Android app.

If you want, you can also submit it as a GitHub feature request, since other Android users have requested the same thing.

I think that the Developers should implement this feature on the Android as well as on IOS devices because this feature is very important for everyone.
If somebody forgot to sync the changes from vs code and he/she eventually remembers that then he/she will be able to create a pull request from the mobile app (if they are not near to their home), and the contributions calendar is a good way to see our contributions on the way. Please consider this.

Yeah, I agree. Having this on both Android and iOS would be really helpful, especially when you are from your laptop. It would make things much easier in situations like this.

Request: Add Contributions Calendar to the GitHub Android App

Hello GitHub Team,

I recently opened the GitHub Android app and visited my profile because I wanted to view my contributions calendar. However, the contributions section/calendar is not available on my profile in the Android app.

I searched for ways to enable the contributions calendar on Android and found several guides suggesting that there should be a setting for it. However, after checking the available settings in the GitHub Android app, I could not find any option to enable or disable the contributions section.

GitHub's web profile provides a contributions calendar that shows a visual overview of contribution activity. However, this experience does not appear to be available directly within the Android app.

Feature Request

Please consider adding the following options to the GitHub Android app:

• A Contributions section/tab directly on the user's profile.
• The familiar contributions calendar/graph with the green contribution squares.
• A setting to show or hide the Contributions section on the mobile profile.
• The ability to view contribution activity for different years.
• Consistent contribution visibility with the GitHub web experience.
• Easy access to contribution details by tapping a particular day.

The Android home-screen contribution widget is useful, but it would be much more convenient to have the contribution calendar directly inside the GitHub app and profile. GitHub Community users have previously requested this functionality for Android as well.

This would make the GitHub Android profile experience much more complete for developers who frequently check their contribution activity from their phones.
