Hey there! 👋 Thanks for posting in the GitHub Community, @saeeds125! You are more likely to get a useful response if you are posting in the applicable category. The Accessibility category is a place for our community to discuss and provide feedback on the digital accessibility of GitHub products. Digital accessibility means that GitHub tools, and technologies, are designed and developed so that people with disabilities can use them. I've gone ahead and moved this to the correct category for you. Good luck! |

Hi @saeeds125, assuming “SP32” means an ESP32, whether a sketch compiles and works depends on which controller your TFT uses. A 1.8" TFT can use different controllers, and each may require a different library and initialization, so giving you a generic sketch now would likely just cause another set of errors. Please provide:
If one of the library's basic TFT examples also fails to compile, mention that too. That helps determine whether the problem is the sketch, the library, or the ESP32/ArduinoDroid setup. Once those details are posted, the sketch can be matched to your exact ESP32 + TFT combination instead of guessing at the controller or pinout. |

Discussion Type Question Feature/Topic Area Mobile / Arduino Body Hello everyone, I have a 1.8-inch TFT display that I would like to use with an ESP32, but I'm having trouble getting it working. I'm using ArduinoDroid on Android to write and compile my Arduino code. Unfortunately, almost every example I've tried so far gives me compilation errors. Could someone please provide a complete, tested ESP32 + 1.8-inch TFT example that I can compile in ArduinoDroid without errors? I would particularly appreciate help with:
I'm not sure which TFT controller my display uses, so if the controller needs to be identified first, please let me know how I can determine whether it is ST7735, ST7789, ILI9163, or another controller. If possible, please provide the code and wiring based on the exact controller once identified. Thank you! |

I have a 1.8 inch TFT display that I want to use with SP32 and need help setting it up. Can you give me a code that I can compile without any problems or errors in the Arduino Droid environment? I'm getting errors with every code I've tried so far.
