Automated Verification Loop - Name Mismatch Error for School ID Layout #209371

I had a similar issue with automated verification before, and one thing that might help is making the ID as easy for the OCR system to read as possible. If possible, try uploading a clear, straight-on photo of the original physical ID with the entire card visible, good lighting, and no glare or reflections. I would also avoid cropping the card or adding any edits/filters. Since your name and school information are in different areas of the card, you could also make sure the full card is visible rather than focusing only on the section containing your name. That may give the verification system more context to connect the student name with the school information. If it still rejects the same document, I would keep the original unedited version and the rejection screenshot, since those details could be useful if the verification has to be reviewed manually. |

Re-verification/Repeat Application
Hi everyone,
Hi GitHub Education Team,
I am trying to apply for the Student Developer Pack. I am a student at SNBP International School, Rahatani, Pune, Maharashtra, India. My school does not provide student email addresses, so I am uploading my physical school ID card.
The automated bot keeps rejecting my application claiming a name mismatch error. However, my public profile name and billing information match my legal ID card perfectly.
I believe the automated OCR text scanner is failing because of the card's physical layout: the school name is printed at the top left of our official ID layout, while the student name and current academic year text are located at the bottom right. The bot is failing to link the two sections together.
Since individual manual tickets are closed, could a GitHub Education staff member please look into my account queue and help me clear this automated verification loop? Thank you!
